Job Description

Heavy-T/ 10 ton truck Driver/Salesman We are looking for a competitive Driver/Salesman (Field Sales Representative) to develop sales strategies and attract new clients. The successful salesperson will source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve quotas. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products and services. As an outside Sales Representative, or Sales Agent, they will also research sales competition. These duties are to be performed during regular work hours (Monday to Friday 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. or as scheduled in the daily work roster). Work hours may be structured differently from time to time based on extenuating and seasonal circumstances.

Job Details / Responsibilities

·       “Get the sale” using various customer sales methods (door-to-door, cold calling, presentations etc.)

·       Forecast sales, develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness

·       Evaluate customers skills, needs and build productive long-lasting relationships

·       Meet personal and team sales targets

·       Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads

·       Collect cash/cheque payments from customers and deposit at office daily

·       Attend meeting, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments

·       Report and provide feedback to management using financial statistical data

·       Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory

·       Performing daily equipment checks

·       Performing daily stock checks

·       Removing waste material from truck

·       Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards

·       Completes all necessary paperwork that pertains to the position

·       Ensures that all equipment and supplies are in working order and reports any issues of maintenance to the Sales Manager

·       Attends training and meetings when required

·       Active participation on Health and Safety program

·       Ensure Company truck is maintained at a high standard of housekeeping

·       Performs other duties for the benefit of the Company as required
