Job Description

To transport finished product to customers, load finished products for export, correct stowage of finished product in the warehouse and assist in replenishing resin to production machines in accordance with Amcor procedures.

Job Details / Responsibilities

·        Abides by all Amcor Safety and Quality policies and procedures.

·        Operates and maintains forklift in a safe and efficient manner using inspections, work instructions, visual management and computer interface.

·        Supplies production operations with raw materials to produce finished product.

·        Inspects finished goods for quality defects.

·        Transfers finished goods to staging or storage areas

·        Loads finished goods onto trucks in a timely manner to meet customer delivery requirements.

·        Accurately completes all written logs and data input to include closing sequences on tickets and printing Bill of Lading.

·        Prints and scans Bill of Lading for all finished goods using computer interface and RF Scanner.

·        Identify and communicate all potential problem areas (i.e. labeling, packaging, storage, and discrepancies) to the Materials Manager.

·        Ensures accurate inventory counts – quantity and locations – and notifies lead / supervisor of discrepancies.

·        Follows FIFO inventory procedures.

·        Effectively communicates with all internal departments.

·        Removes / reworks any damaged product on pallets.

·        Maintains a clean work area and performs general housekeeping duties.

·        Follows all established safety rules and as trained.  Understands and communicates all hazards and safety issues to co-workers, Supervisors and Management.  Properly uses all required personal protective equipment.

·        Assure inventory reporting compliance for audit requirements.

·        Maintains all required documentation inventory as defined by company policy.

Comply with all norms, policies and standards regarding safety (PPE), quality and overall attitude and behavior.
