Professional Qualifications Required

5 CXC Passes- Including Maths & English CAT or Accounting Course - Payroll Related Certificate or Diploma in Human Resource . Certificate in Microsoft Office, (advance in MS Excel & Word)

Technical / Vocational Skills Required

Experience in using EZPAY or some type of payroll software, will be an asset. Knowledge of Taxation and calculating times (basic to overtime). Knowledge of Recruiting procedures, onboarding documentation and file creation and upkeep.

Job Description

Must be able to multitask in a fast paced environment, providing support to the Payroll / HR team. Liaising with Supervisory Staff on attendance reports to process payroll, on a weekly basis. Collating data and data entry in excel and payroll software. Processing of payroll reports (leaves and statutory deductions) - for payments and employee updates. Ensuring onboarding documentation is processed, NIS, BIR and Bank for adding masterfiles in payroll software.

Job Details / Responsibilities

                                           HUMAN RESOURCE CLERK

1. Creating and maintaining employee files. 

2. Filing time tracks and other correspondences .

3. Logging of employees notes : Warning letters, Sick leave, Job letters & other relevant documentation.

4. Preparation of : Job letters; NIS Claims: Sickness, Retirement claims

5. Ability to multitask to meet specific deadlines

6. Must be able to work independently and in a team

7. Must have a love and passion for payroll calculations, ensuring data is correct to enter on software: Basic, leaves and overtime calculations, must be balanced.

8. Printing weekly payroll reports- Payslips, NIS, Group health, PAYE, Pensions, Health Surcharge and monthly leave reports, for the respective divisions.

9. Preparation of monthly payments to - NIS, Medical & Pensions Plans.

10. Liaising  with  supervisors, employees, banking officers, Managers etc. as required.

11. Switchboard relief - for receptionist during breaks and scheduled leave.
