To assist the Accounting Department with its administrative and clerical duties. To assist with bookkeeping and reporting, and research and resolve discrepancies.
Verify daily sales reports from retail outlets and head office sales. Querying and resolving any discrepancies identified
Update daily sales reports in excel spreadsheet for final entry at the end of the month into Peachtree. Verify total monthly sales and vat matches that in retail edge
Verify and reconcile to daily sales report any cash sent to Head Office from retail outlets and pass to Accounting Assistant to receive in petty cash
Update monthly cost of sales from retail edge to Peachtree
Update Export (Magic) invoices, receipts and credit notes on excel spreadsheet for final entry at the end of the month into Peachtree
Assist with daily bank reconciliation
Assist with duties related to Accounts Payable function.
Assist in supplier reconciliation and resolve any outstanding issues as needed.
Complete credit applications to vendors as necessary
Assist with regular and year end stock counts both frozen and dry for Head Office and Retail Outlets
Any other duties assigned
