• Valid Heavy-T license (Class 4) with a minimum of one (1) year Heavy-T driving experience • Must be 25 years and older • Must be in possession of a valid certificate of character Prior experience working directly for sales in the FMCG distribution would be an asset

The incumbent MUST ensure timely and safe transport of the company’s products, assets and staff utilizing safe driving practices through weekly visits to all customers. The position must ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
Ensure product is in proper consumable condition and loaded accurately on truck every morning for delivery
Ensure that delivery is made weekly to each customer and in a timely manner
Ensure the truck is in proper physical and working order every morning before work and upon finishing work daily
Physically assists the porter in loading, off-loading and merchandising of products by customers
Coordinates with salesman / porter to ensure product is merchandised instantly in appropriate chillers upon sale and that proper product rotation is fulfilled to prevent expiries
Rotates product accordingly in that slower selling product is sent to faster selling customers
Re-packs unsold product at the end of the day’s sales into Company’s cold storage at base
Coordinate in conjunction with all relevant Company personnel, including but not limited to the Supervisors,
Upper Management and fellow staff that the reputation of the brand is visible, protected and held in high-esteem at all times
