Professional Qualifications Required

Technical / Vocational Skills Required

• A minimum of two (2) years' experience in a warehouse environment. • Must be able to work on a shift basis and on weekends. • An interest in pursuing formal qualifications in Supply Chain fundamentals and Warehouse operations. • Knowledge of computerized Warehouse Management System would be an asset. • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel).

Job Details / Responsibilities

Reports To: Raw Materials Warehouse / Sanitation Supervisor

Supervision Given To: Warehouse Attendants & Sanitation Workers

Principal Accountabilities:

  Warehouse Duties

  • Prepare Goods Received documentation to record receipt of both raw and packaging materials.

  • Review requisition documentation submitted by Supervisors from Processing, Packaging, Special Projects and Mixing Room Departments.

  • Contact the Customs & Excise Division and appointments with Customs Officers to oversee unstuffing of containers.

  • Contact Plant Quaratine Division for unstuffing of containers containing corn products and potatoes in accordance with established procedures.

  • Perform any other related functions consequential and incidental to the position.


  • Maintain records of employee attendance and punctuality.
  • Prepare reports for submission to the RMWH / Sanitation Supervisor as requested.

Sanitation Duties

  • Assist with the preparation of schedules for general sanitation duties, inclusive of cleaning drains, all parking lots and glass doors at all entrances.

Purchasing Duties

  • Assist with the preparation of Purchase Orders in consultation with the Plant Manager for boxes and bags as required.
