Completes construction projects to customer satisfaction with Roof Systems and industry standards, safely, on time and within budget by planning, organizing, and controlling labour and other resources; completing quality inspections; identifying, developing and supervising sub-contractors.
Contract Reviews - Carry out a detailed inspection and analysis of the Work required on assigned jobs and compared to the quoted works to ensure that all technical requirements are met to provide the highest quality system. Provide the sales rep with information to revise the quote where necessary and advise the client on the best course of action.
Planning – Prioritize and plan work activities to keep in line with target dates.
Sub-Contractors - Source, train and develop a skilled pool of sub contract labour and supervise their works ensuring that the company’s standard of workmanship is provided on all assigned jobs. Motivate crews, reviewing contracts to ensure that the fees are fair both to the sub-contractor and to the company in line with budget amounts.
Confirmation of Materials and work methods – Take proper measurements, present data effectively and confirm all materials, flashing designs etc provided by the estimating department. Check that all required materials and equipment required are received at the start of the job.
Health and Safety – Observes safety and security procedures with materials on site. Carry out Job safety analysis at contract reviews and Reports potential unsafe conditions. Uses equipment and materials properly. Always ensure that the subcontractors are practicing safe work habits and enforce Roofs Systems safety policies.
Customer Service – Ensure that the jobsite is kept clean and tidy, due care of the client’s property and grounds is maintained particularly to guard against rain, wind etc and keeping the client appraised of the status of works and any matters arising during the course of the job.
Variations and Progress reports - Provide progress reports on the job, percentage completion data, for accurate sub-contractor payments and interim billing, including documenting and obtaining client signature on billable variation works.
Site Visits and inspections – Conduct site visits and inspections daily or as required to personally verify that all workmanship and safety standards and customer service and site maintenance is at the required level.
Company assets and Materials - Ensuring that all materials and tools/equipment sent to jobs are properly accounted for and maintained in a safe and secure manner while onsite and properly returned to the company on completion of the job.
Sign Off – Conduct final inspection on completion of jobs and fill out installation check list to close of works. Walk through with customer to ensure all has been done to their satisfaction. Obtain completion sign off.
Warranty & After sales service - Timely and efficiently attending to customer call backs to identify the causes of the problem and having the necessary repairs or warranty works completed.
