Talent and Engagement Specialist

Job Details / Responsibilities

Main Purpose of Job:

The Talent and Engagement Specialist is responsible for the coordination, execution, and continuous improvement of talent, learning, and employee engagement initiatives that support a positive, high-performing, and value-driven workplace. The role supports the implementation of strategies aligned to the Group’s culture, PRIME values, and business objectives by delivering impactful programmes, generating insights from employee data, and partnering with internal stakeholders to enhance employee experience, capability development, and retention.

 

Key Accountabilities:

Talent Management and Succession Planning

  • Maintain and update talent data, including high-potential employee tracking and succession planning records.
  • Support the coordination of talent reviews and development planning processes.
  • Assist in identifying skill gaps and support the rollout of development initiatives to address business needs.
  • Provide administrative and analytical support for talent management programmes.

 

Performance Management / Learning and Development:

  • Design and implement robust performance management systems.
  • Oversee the performance management processes, including performance reviews, feedback and development planning.
  • Facilitate the implementation of training and development programs that enhance employee’s technical soft skills and capabilities, aligned with organizational goals and employee needs.
  • Manage and maintain learning platforms and track training effectiveness by conducting needs analysis and evaluation on learning programs to facilitate a culture of continuous improvement through regular feedback and coaching initiatives.
  • Tracking usage of tools and the learning management system features to provide reports on trends and creating and executing a plan to address trends and any relevant issues.

 

Culture and Employee Engagement

  • In collaboration with the Employee and Industrial Relations Officer, design and implement culture and engagement initiatives aligned to the Group’s PRIME values.
  • Coordinate and execute employee engagement activities, events, and campaigns to enhance morale and participation.
  • Administer employee surveys (e.g., engagement, pulse) and support focus groups and feedback sessions.
  • In collaboration with the HR Assistant, collect, analyze and interpret employee engagement data, and prepare reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Partner with HR and business units to support initiatives that promote inclusion, collaboration, and a positive workplace culture.

 

Change Management:

  • Manage the Management of Change (MoC) process as assigned, ensuring that all change initiatives are effectively planned, communicated, and executed.
  • Ensure change management practices are effectively integrated into business processes, minimizing resistance and maximizing adoption.
  • Support change management efforts during organizational shifts, including organizational changes, technology implementation, or process optimization.
  • Develop and execute internal communication strategies to reinforce culture, promote transparency, and share learning.
  • Evaluate the impact of change initiatives on organizational culture and employee engagement, and make recommendations as needed.

 

Required Qualifications/Experience:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field.

·       A minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in HR at a supervisory level, with a focus on talent management, employee engagement, or organizational development.

·       Proven experience in leading cultural transformation and change management initiatives.

·       Strong understanding of performance management and the employee development processes.

·       Experience with MS Office and Human Resources Management Systems – including SAP, Success Factors etc.

·       Ability to take quick decisions while working in a fast-paced environment.

·       Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make evidence-based decisions.

·       Ability to perform under pressure, respond quickly to requests and achieve effective results within given and at times tight time frames.

·       Ability to coach and guide less experienced staff and contribute to their on-going training and development.

·       Sound leadership, communication and influencing skills required.
