Diploma, Certificate, or Associate Degree in Inventory Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or spare parts management within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDE, or similar inventory management software.
Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and warehouse operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems. Ability to create and maintain accurate material master data. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to perform inventory reconciliations and variance investigations. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Understanding of spare parts identification, cataloguing, and storage practices.
The Spare Parts Inventory Clerk is responsible for the effective management, control, and distribution of spare parts and maintenance materials to support plant operations. This role ensures inventory accuracy, timely processing of received goods, creation and maintenance of material codes, stock replenishment, and coordination of spare parts deliveries. The incumbent maintains accurate inventory records and works closely with maintenance, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing inventory variances.
