Job Description

This position ensures that foreign payables and receipts related to raw materials and factory spares are updated in a timely and accurate manner. The position also provides relief support to other members of the Finance department.

Job Details / Responsibilities

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Timely and accurate updating of Great Plains’ sub-ledgers for Foreign Accounts Payable (“FAP”) and Inventory for Raw Materials (“RPL”) and Spares in relation to shipments received.
Posting and application of payments to foreign suppliers.
Quarterly supplier statement reconciliation for Foreign Accounts Payable accounts, ensuring follow up and resolution of any discrepancies.
Reconciliation of Aged FAP sub-ledger to respective General Ledger (“GL”) accounts on a monthly basis
Preparing monthly report on changes in landed cost of ALL Raw Materials
Assist with posting of Local AP and Inventory batches in GP.
Assist with GL account reconciliations as needed to AP and other related areas.
Providing coverage in other areas within the Finance department
Maintaining a proper filing system aligned to Finance Department’s approved way of work.
