Professional Qualifications Required

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related discipline from a recognized tertiary institution. Professional certification in Marketing, Advertising, Sales would be an asset. Five (5) GCE O’ Level passes grades A or B or CXC passes Grades I or II, including Mathematics and English Language

Technical / Vocational Skills Required

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.). Experience with online marketing tools and practices. Proven experience designing and/or overseeing data capture processes to gather customer insights with a view toward enhancing brand and customer experience. Able to conduct research, analyse data, and develop insightful reports. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Strong organisational and project management abilities. Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage shifting priorities.

Job Description

This role supports the planning and execution of integrated marketing initiatives across retail, digital and Business-to-Business (B2B) channels to enhance brand visibility, attract customers, increase in-store traffic and support revenue growth.

Job Details / Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Marketing Officer in planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, in-store and event platforms.

• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of campaigns, promotions and marketing materials.

• Support the development and implementation of retail marketing initiatives, including in-store displays and point-of-purchase (POP) materials.

• Manage marketing collateral, product imagery and website updates to ensure brand consistency across all channels.

• Monitor market trends and competitor activities and assist with post-campaign performance evaluations.

• Coordinate vision screening activities, including logistics, equipment, supplies and reporting.

• Conduct branch visits to support merchandising standards and effective campaign execution.

• Assist with social media content development and provide general marketing support as required.
