Professional Qualifications Required

Technical / Vocational Skills Required

Demonstrated ability to operate and interact with mechanical and/or electrically driven systems within a production and technical environment Foundational understanding of mechanical, electrical, or electronic principles, with the ability to recognize abnormal equipment behavior Experience following structured, multi-step processes with a high degree of accuracy and consistency Strong troubleshooting capability, including identifying faults, process deviations, and contributing to root cause analysis Ability to monitor and maintain controlled process conditions within precision-driven environments Proficiency in performing detailed visual inspections, with the ability to detect minor inconsistencies in surface quality and coating integrity High level of manual dexterity, enabling precise handling of delicate components Strong attention to detail and adherence to tightly regulated procedural standards

Job Description

The Anti-Reflective Coating Technician will operate and support systems within a controlled, multi-stage optical coating production environment. The role involves lens preparation, coating, curing, inspection, and process monitoring, with a strong focus on maintaining quality, consistency, and process integrity in a precision-driven setting.

Job Details / Responsibilities

  • Operate and support systems involved in lens preparation, cleaning, coating, and curing
  • Monitor process conditions and equipment behavior during production cycles
  • Identify and respond to process deviations, contamination issues, and coating inconsistencies
  • Assist in diagnosing root causes of defects arising from handling, process variation, or equipment conditions
  • Maintain consistency across precision-driven, low-tolerance workflows
  • Perform inspection of optical surfaces for clarity, uniformity, and coating integrity
  • Work within a controlled, multi-stage optical production environment
  • Handle delicate optical components within tightly regulated process conditions
  • Execute repetitive, precision-based tasks requiring a high level of attention to detail
  • Remain physically active within a hands-on production setting while adhering to strict procedural standards
