Education: At least five (5) O-levels including Mathematics and English & Diploma or Certificate in MIC/MET or similar qualifications. /EET/EEET Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the field of Maintenance.

Universal Foods Limited is seeking a proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, ensuring optimal performance of all manufacturing equipment, and providing technical support and troubleshooting expertise across operations.
· Execute all tasks as outlined in assigned Work Orders.
· Perform Preventative Maintenance on plant and equipment using designated checklists, ensuring completion within the required timeframes and in alignment with departmental KPIs.
· Collaborate with Operators to identify equipment malfunctions; inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and service machinery, conveyors, and other production-related equipment and accessories as needed.
· Communicate requirements for replacement parts or materials identified during maintenance to the Maintenance Engineer or Supervisor.
· Maintain updated logs and records for all equipment and maintenance activities.
· Conduct routine inspections of workshop equipment to ensure compliance with GMP standards and complete associated reports.
· Coordinate with subcontractors for equipment repairs, installations, and upgrades.
· Assist with general building and utility maintenance as needed.
· Respond to emergency breakdowns outside normal working hours when required.
