RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Areas:

1. Consultations

• Assessing client design needs and preparation of Design / Project Briefs
• Design Consultancy
• Attendance at meetings where required
• Research and Development

2. Architectural Design Development

• Conceptualization of architectural designs for customized projects
• Assisting with land development planning, T & C Applications & Regional Application
• Production of CAD drawings with Revit Software for Architectural Designs
• Reproduction of client supplied drawings using Revit Software for estimation
• Reproduction of client approved drawings for manufacturing with ProCAD Software/MWF StrucSoft
• Preparation of building dimensions & surface area calculation for estimation
• Preparation of steel usages, fastener count, surface areas (Quote profile)

3. Design Operations and Administration

• Preparation of standardized correspondence forms / documents for design operations management
• Preparation of departmental weekly activity reports
• Assist with Preparation of client proposals
• Assisting with the preparation of tender documentation where required
• Task management and assignment using Hubspot
• Liaising with external consultants, engineers, project managers and contractors in the supply chain

4. Design Coordination

• Development of finish schedule for structures
• Development of specification drawings for surface finishing and shop drawings for interior detailing
• Liaising with contractors for the implementation of interior and exterior finishes
• Co-ordination with interior designers for finishing options
• Overseeing staging of model homes where applicable
• Assistance with document formatting and general administrative tasks for document preparation and management
