- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in design and construction - 1st Degree in Architectural Engineering or equivalent experience - Knowledge of Business Administration Principles and Procedures
- Knowledge of and Practical Experience in the use and application of Architectural Design and Engineering Principles in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) Industry - Autodesk Certification in Levels 1 2 and 3 of AutoCAD - Autodesk Certification in Revit and other BIM (Building Information Modeling) Software Applications - Certification in Technical Drawing or Draughting or Equivalent - Proficient in the use of MS Office and Adobe Applications - Knowledge and Practical Experience in Procurement and Tendering - Certification in Project Management
The Architectural Design Engineering Technician reports to the Senior Design Engineer and provides support to the design team in managing day to day operations and enforcing design policies and SOPs. The Architectural Design Engineering Technician also coordinates the overall design function, acting as a liaison with the internal teams and external stakeholders, including project managers, suppliers, engineers, architects and contractors.
