Professional Qualifications Required

· Five CXC subjects · Diploma in Sales or relevant academic qualifications · Efficient in MICROSOFT Office · Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills · Have to possess a reliable working vehicle. · One to two years experience in a sales environment · Experience in the Plastics Manufacturing industry will be considered an asset. · Knowledge of the trends and developments in the Manufacturing industry will be an asset.

Job Description

The Key Account Specialist is generally accountable for handling multiple customer accounts and providing excellent customer service. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining long term customer relations, developing strategies in line with customers’ current and future needs, advising customers on market changes and developing new customer leads.

Job Details / Responsibilities

· Manage and maintain customer accounts assigned.

· Gather customer requests and requirements and coordinate with the relevant departments to ensure it is delivered in a timely manner.

· Build and maintain long-term customer relations by having an intricate understanding of the customers’ businesses and its development.

· Assist the Sales Manager in planning and implementing sales strategies.

· Acknowledge and resolve customer queries in accordance with the policies and procedures of the organization.

· Recommend solution strategies in accordance with market changes to ensure that the customer continues to sustain his business with our products.

· Understand products being sold and how it may differ from similar products or services sold by competitors.

· Prepare and present data analysis reports as requested.

· Assist in generating potential leads.

· Coordinating with internal and external team members to recommend solutions for advancement of the customers’ businesses.

· Ensure that all customers receive the products on time.

· Keeps abreast of product applications, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with the production and distribution teams.

· Participate in trade shows and conventions when required.

· Execute administrative duties required to achieve sales targets.

· Maintains a safe and clean work environment and ensures compliance with established Occupational Safety & Health rules, policies and procedures.

· Complies with all company policies, rules and guidelines.

· Performs any other duties that are required for the effective discharge of this job.
