Professional Qualifications Required

Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering, Business, or a related field. 5 - 10 years of experience in technical sales, preferably within the machining or engineering sector. Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Technical / Vocational Skills Required

Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, machining and motor repair operations. Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and cross-functional internal teams. Self motivated and results-driven, with a strong work-ethic and sense of accountability.

Job Description

The ideal candidate must have a strong technical background in machining and engineering, combined with exceptional sales and customer service capabilities. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and sustaining long-term client relationships, and effectively promoting Qualitech’s products and services to consistently exceed sales targets.

Job Details / Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales initiative to achieve sales forecast. 
  • Prepare quotations, proposals and presentations, follow-up and negotiate on proposals quotations.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Qualitech’s machining techniques and methods.
  • Actively keep abreast of industry developments, monitor competitive products and services in order to make strategic recommendations on business opportunities or risks.
  • Provides excellent customer service including ‘after sales service’ to maintain customer relationship, respond to customer queries or requests quickly and competently.
  • Regularly communicate with Supervisors/ machinist to obtain information on customer jobs, proactively discuss potential problems or issues and status of jobs to keep customer informed.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure that customer requirements are understood and met.
