Key Responsibilities

• Record and report daily harvest yields, including estimated weights and categorized quality.
• Provide a daily yield report separating restaurant-grade and premium mushrooms.
• Oversee and quality-control the harvesting process, ensuring correct timing, techniques, and post-harvest handling.
• Assist the Pack Lead with the packaging and labelling of mushrooms.
• Maintain storage conditions and overall quality of mushrooms kept in the Cold Room.
• Ensure all Cold Room staff follow proper PPE use and meet hygiene and food safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the Cold Room, including picking and packaging totes and surfaces.
• Supervise the movement of staff, produce, and materials into, out of, and within the Cold Room to ensure workflow efficiency.
• Maintain active communication with Farm manager regarding quality.
• Provide yield forecasts for all days in the farm.
• Record and track incoming mushrooms.
• Notify the Farm Manager immediately of any technical issues with the Cold Room cooling systems or related equipment.
