•5 CXC Subjects- Maths & English , Principles of Accounts is compulsory . • Level 1 ACCA or Pursuing Degree in Accounting / or CAT or equivalent. •Certificate in Microsoft Office •3 years practical experience & knowledge in the field of Accounts Payables •Must be competent with MS Word & Excel.

The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for handling all payments to the relevant business institutions, via cheque payments, cash payments, ACH , Petty Cash Vouchers . Collating of invoices , bills and receipts.
The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
*Checking all entries (Edit list – Local& Foreign)Checking all data entry form before *sending to Inventory Dept. for receiving on system
*Emails & Queries
*Balancing Month end reports with Trial Balance and submitting to Accountant
*Preparing PAYE and Health Surcharge payments
*Preparing Quarterly Taxes payments - Green Fund and Business Levy
*Preparing VAT
*Assist in all other areas where needed (Filing, Copies,Paying cheques)
*Laising with Directors, Accountants, Auditors
*Providing reports needed by any other departments, Directors, Accountant
*Processing Foreign invoices
*Calculation on documents(Received from Customs and Purchasing)
* Checking invoices with all other documents
* Preparing Foreign Payments
* Data Entry in GP (Invoices and Payments)
*Generating and Balancing Smartlist reports - Foreign and Local Payables
*Reconciliation-Reconciling Supplier Statements
*Assist in preparing Cheque Payment Vouchers
*Assisting in selecting Cheques and stamping for payment
*Assist in Paying suppliers daily
*Filing of all relevant documentation & Maintaining Files.
*Updating and entering Petrol receipts.
* Data Entry- for all transactions
*Checking Cash in Cash Room
