Job Description

The HR Project Assistant position is a fixed-term contract position, providing support for the HR department as it reviews and revises its systems and operations. The incumbent provides skilled technical and administrative support to the HR/ IR Manager in routine HR matters and also supports the successful deployment of intra- and interdepartmental projects.

Job Details / Responsibilities

  1. Assisting the HR/ IR Manager in successfully developing and executing all projects/ initiatives 
  2. Execute routine functional HR tasks, including: 
  • Talent management: Assisting in the overall recruitment process
  • Employee and Industrial Relations: Taking notes at meetings and distributing same after review ; conducting research for policy development
  • Benefits Administration: Updating soft and hard copy employee leave records; executing relevant health plan administrative duties as required; first level leave administration
  • HR Administration/ Metrics: Maintaining up to date HR soft and hardcopy records via weekly/ daily data entry+analysis and filing; generating reports based on approved schedule; preparing contracts, letters and other documents based on existing templates 

3. Performing any other related duties as may be required by the function.
