Job Description

The Machine Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating production machinery to support the company’s manufacturing output. This role ensures consistent product quality, minimizes downtime, and maintains smooth workflow within a fast-paced production environment. The Machine Operator contributes to the company's reputation for Service, Selection, and Quality by upholding safety standards, accuracy, and operational excellence.

Job Details / Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Operate production machinery according to established safety and quality standards.

  • Monitor machines during operation to identify irregularities, malfunctions, or quality issues.

  • Perform basic machine setup, adjustments, and routine maintenance where required.

  • Ensure accurate measurement, cutting, or processing of materials based on production specifications.

  • Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and operational procedures at all times.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to support efficient workflow.

  • Document production output, machine logs, or incident reports as required.

  • Assist with loading/unloading materials and preparing machines for production runs.

  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and minimize downtime.

  • Report equipment faults, safety hazards, or production concerns promptly to the supervisor.
