Professional Qualifications Required

Job Description

The Sales Representative is responsible for growing the company's presence across South and Central Trinidad, promoting all products within the printing, craft, and food packaging industries. This role is focused on developing strong relationships with retailers, distributors, printers, crafters, and food businesses to expand market reach, increase sales volume, and uphold the company's reputation for Service, Selection, and Quality.

Job Details / Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Territory Management

  • Promote and sell the company's product lines.
  • Identify, target, and onboard new customers in South & Central Trinidad.
  • Follow the assigned route plan provided by management to ensure consistent territory coverage, timely order follow-ups, and active customer engagement.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and actively contribute to regional sales growth.
  • Work collaboratively with the Marketing team to support promotions, exhibitions, and events.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers through exceptional service and reliable communication.
  • Educate customers on new and existing products to both the printing and food-packaging industries.
  • Manage customer accounts, including payment follow-ups, credit terms, and issue resolution.
  • Handle customer feedback or complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring all matters are resolved efficiently.

Market Intelligence & Brand Promotion

  • Monitor competitors’ activity, pricing, and trends within the printing, craft, and food-packaging sectors.
  • Gather and report insights on customer preferences, market demand, and emerging opportunities.
  • Support trade events, seasonal campaigns, and in-store product activations to promote the company's brands.
  • Uphold the company's brand image in all interactions — maintaining professionalism, accuracy, and customer-focused service.

Operational Support

  • Liaise with the Distribution and Logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and order accuracy.
  • Provide feedback to the Inventory team regarding stock levels and fast-moving products.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, weekly activity reports, and route performance summaries.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety requirements, and customer service standards.
