A minimum of 3 years experience in a Quality Assurance role within a beverage or food manufacturing plant. Solid knowledge of Microbiology, Raw Material Inspection, Beverage Bottling Processes and Laboratory Practices.

Job Description

The Laboratory Supervisor plays a critical role in safeguarding the high-quality standards of Blue Waters’ products and ensuring a consistently excellent customer experience. The incumbent will supervise and support a team of Quality Assurance Technicians, conduct routine laboratory testing across the production process and ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards.

Job Details / Responsibilities

Lead a team of Quality Assurance Technicians responsible for testing and monitoring product quality at every stage of the production process.
Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, food safety regulations and external audit requirements.
Review, analyze, and validate laboratory test results, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
Oversee the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy and precision in all testing.
Manage stock levels of reagents, supplies and equipment while liaising with local and international vendors.
Support audits, supplier evaluations and customer complaint investigations.
