A minimum of 5 CXC/ CSEC passes, including English A and Mathematics; courses related to Effective selling would be an asset At least 3 years’ related sales experience, with experience in the food and beverage industry preferred. Candidates with Frozen Food sales expertise are highly desirable. The Sales Representative works to achieve their sales targets in the specified geographic area, and cultivates a pattern of strong and continuous growth with customers. This position does on-the-road sales, focused on visiting customers and advocating for the company’s products and brands.
· Achieve the required sales quota(s) on a monthly basis.
· Generate new customers and sales opportunities, and continuously grow the reach of their assigned brands and product range, while cultivating healthy positive customer relationships.
· Ensure the timely collection on customer accounts and be accountable for all receipts issued.
· Initially address customer complaints and damaged merchandise in a timely, fair and cost-effective manner in keeping with company policy.
· Partner with Merchandising to ensure effective merchandising activity at the supermarkets, such as stock rotation and stock movement
· Ensure that all tasks are conducted as per safe work procedures and in accordance with OSHA guidelines.
· Perform any other related duties as may be required by the function.
