1. B.Sc. Agriculture or Agronomy, and minimum of 3 years related work experience, including a working knowledge of local agriculture
1. Possession of a valid Driver’s License 2. Good knowledge of analytics, reporting and staff supervision techniques 3. Strong comfort in using Microsoft Office Suite 4. Any other suitable combination of qualifications and experience
The Agricultural Officer ensures that local produce is selected and purchased in the required timeframe/ amounts, in accordance with established Food Safety/ GMP specifications and at the most economical prices. S/he fosters mutually beneficial and long-term relationships with farmers and also supervises a team of skilled/ semi-skilled staff to ensure that fresh produce is partially processed in a cost-effective manner.
