Job Description

Drive the business by opening new markets and territories while proactively managing existing customer to achieve the financial targets defined in the Export Strategic Plan. The job holder will Identify and capture all business opportunities in all Caribbean territories and other potential markets by negotiating with distributors ensuring that existing customers are retained, and the Company’s position remains profitable. He/she will monitor and ensure timely coordination and execution of a high volume of export container shipments.

Job Details / Responsibilities

·        Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.

·        Identify and complete feasibility study to understand new market opportunities.

·        Develop a robust Commercial plan to open new markets.

·        Identify and evaluate specific new profitable business opportunities with current and potential Distributors.

·        Plan and execute persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with the company.

·        Work with the Commercial Manager to identify and evaluate markets, and new target clients and go after them within the guidelines, policy and procedure of the company.

·        Use knowledge of the markets and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.

·        Close new business opportunities, developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.

·        Develop Brands in the Export Market and by extension participate in local market activities to give products higher visibility and increase market share.
