Job Description

The incumbent has the primary responsibility for the running of all the finance activities of the Company, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting and negotiations. All while ensuring cost effective initiatives are rolled out throughout the organization.

Job Details / Responsibilities

Ensure that all Costings of incoming goods are accurately recorded and updated in the system.
Ensure regular stock counts are conducted and variances are updated and posted timely and in accordance with the Company’s policy.
Sign off on weekly reports – this includes but is not limited to the Packaging and bulk sales report, Inventory (Bulk & Packaging) and Packing Inventory Transfer
Treasury / Cash Management – to manage cash flows in keeping with terms and conditions of invoices and bills. 
Review and confirm all statutory payments are made in a timely manner including: Value Added Tax bi-monthly, Quarterly Taxes, Annual returns of Statutory Deduction and Remittance to BIR.
Review General Journals prepared by Junior staff and prepare additional Journals where applicable.  Also ensure that all adjusting journals arising out of the annual reviews are accurately recorded and verified against Annual Financial Statements prepared by external Accountants.

Analyze business operations, trends, cost, revenue, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
Timely preparation of monthly management accounts with supporting schedules for all items on the Statement of Financial Position and Statement of Comprehensive Income with explanations on variances to budget and prior year/period.
Supervise year-end annual stock count.
Prepare annual accounting schedules for external Accountants in a timely manner.
Performs other related duties which may be assigned from time to time by the Chief Executive Officer/Executive Directors
