Professional Qualifications Required

• Degree/Diploma in Business Management or related field from a recognized university. • At least 5 years’ experience in a Sales, Marketing or Commercial environment. • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and other similar type applications. • Any other suitable qualifications and experience may be considered.

Job Description

The Account Representative is responsible for providing a direct sales service to assigned accounts and ensuring that the quality and consistency of service is maintained. The incumbent is also responsible for attaining or surpassing monthly sales targets while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing and new customers, creating new and innovative branding opportunities and following up on collections

Job Details / Responsibilities

·         Provides ongoing account support to existing customers assigned by the Sales and Marketing Manager.

·         Informs new and existing customers of promotions, upgraded product lines, and offers.

·         Assists with the execution of marketing and promotional activities to build brand awareness.

·         Collaborates with the Sales and Marketing Manager to identify new sales leads and to develop the appropriate sales plans.

·         Conducts market research when required and identifies new sales opportunities.

·         Assists with cash and/or credit collections from customers if and when required.

·         Checks and monitors stock levels at assigned customer locations.

·         Checks and verifies damaged items at assigned customer locations and report findings.

·         Effectively communicates with the Merchandising Supervisor or relevant merchandiser to ensure that the company’s products are properly displayed in customer locations.

·         Utilizes the company’s CRM (sales software) to enter all sales orders.

·         Performs other related duties which may be assigned from time to time.
