Responsible for all Manufacturing, Warehousing, Purchasing and Distribution operations as well as Manufacturing support functions: Engineering, Planning and Maintenance Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: ·Plan, organize and direct the manufacturing and maintenance operations ·Initiate plans and processes which minimize manufacturing costs ·Ensure that business objectives and production schedules are met ·Implement manufacturing strategies and action plans ·Establish group and individual accountabilities throughout the departments ·Improve manpower utilization within existing departments and processes ·Manage spending against budget and in relation to changes in production volume ·Continually improve safety record by addressing both physical safety issues and employee safety attitudes. ·Maintain and improve housekeeping in all areas ·Maintain individual skills by keeping up to the date with the latest production Management concepts
