Professional Qualifications Required

Required Qualifications Minimum of five (5) CXC/CSEC subjects including Mathematics and English. Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in sales, customer service, retail, or cashiering. Experience within automotive parts, HVAC, wholesale, retail, or distribution industries is highly preferred. Experience using POS systems, ERP systems, or invoicing software is an asset.

Job Description

The Sales Representative is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while driving sales growth for Maraj Air Conditioning Ltd through the effective sale of automotive AC parts, HVAC products, refrigerants, tools, accessories, and related services. This role also includes cashiering responsibilities, requiring the successful candidate to process customer transactions accurately, manage cash handling procedures, issue invoices and receipts, and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced retail and distribution environment. The ideal candidate must possess strong product knowledge, customer service skills, sales ability, and experience handling cashing operations efficiently and accurately.

Job Details / Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Service

  • Assist walk-in, retail, trade, and commercial customers professionally and efficiently.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
  • Promote automotive AC parts, HVAC products, refrigerants, tools, and accessories.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to branch revenue growth.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge to support customer inquiries and sales opportunities.
  • Follow up on customer requests, quotations, and pending sales opportunities.
  • Support promotional campaigns and sales initiatives.

Cashing & Transaction Processing

  • Process cash, credit card, debit card, and account transactions accurately.
  • Issue invoices, receipts, quotations, credits, and related sales documents.
  • Ensure proper balancing of cash drawers and transaction records.
  • Maintain accountability for cash handling and payment processing procedures.
  • Report discrepancies, shortages, or transaction issues immediately.
  • Follow company policies regarding refunds, credits, and payment approvals.

Customer Account Support

  • Assist customers with account inquiries and payment information.
  • Coordinate with Accounts regarding outstanding balances where required.
  • Ensure proper customer information is captured within the system.
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality regarding customer transactions.

Inventory & Operational Support

  • Assist in verifying product availability and stock location.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse and Dispatch teams regarding customer orders.
  • Support inventory checks and showroom organization where required.
  • Ensure products displayed are organized and presentable.

Administrative & Reporting Duties

  • Maintain accurate transaction and sales records.
  • Ensure all supporting documentation is properly completed and filed.
  • Assist with daily sales reports and operational summaries.
  • Follow ERP and invoicing procedures accurately.
