• Tools and Machinery - Knowledge of tools and machinery, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. • Organising, Planning and Prioritizing Work – Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organise and accomplish your work.
The incumbent will be responsible for providing assistance and support to the employees in the plant as well as directives from the Operations Manager on a daily basis.
1. Provide assistance to the following departments or teams: dispatch, maintenance, machine operators, forklift drivers, supervisors, customers and delivery vehicles when required.
2. Manually assist with the loading and offloading of vehicles.
3. Maintain the upkeep of the compound for example ensuring nails, scraps etc. are not in the way to cause damage to anyone or vehicles.
4. Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of the Factory, equipment, tools, machinery, building and compound by ensuring its organised, cleaned, painted and in good working condition as directed.
5. Assist workers as necessary with machine and equipment upgrade, service, preventative maintenance and installation.
6. Assist the with vehicle maintenance
