1. Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting or any related field. 2. CAT or ACCA Level 1 would be an asset.
4. Experience with Micropay payroll software. 5. Strong knowledge and understanding of NIS Act, PAYE rules and Health Surcharge regulations 6. Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. 7. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines and prioritize payroll-critical tasks. 8. Efficient organizational, verbal and written communication skills. 9. Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel, along with Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of fortnightly and monthly payroll, including statutory deductions and remittances (NIS, PAYE, Health Surcharge, pensions). Ensures leave verification, payroll reporting, TD4 preparation, and maintenance of payroll reconciliation and records in full compliance with regulatory requirements.
Manages end-to-end processing of fortnightly and monthly payrolls, ensuring accurate calculations and timely statutory submissions for NIS, PAYE, Health Surcharge, pensions, and voluntary deductions. Verifies leave records, prepares payroll reports and TD4 filings, maintains payroll reconciliation data, and ensures all payroll and tax records are accurate, compliant, and up to date.
