• Previous experience in a seafood or food processing plant • HACCP certification (Seafood HACCP preferred) • Familiarity with FDA Seafood HACCP regulations or equivalent international standards • Experience with sensory evaluation of seafood products • Knowledge of allergen control and labeling requirements
• Strong food safety awareness • Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy • Ability to identify quality defects and food safety hazards • Problem-solving and decision-making skills • Reliability and integrity in enforcing food safety standards • Understanding of HACCP, GMP, and SSOP concepts • Ability to accurately complete food safety documentation • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in cold and wet environments • Basic computer and record-keeping skills • Good communication and teamwork skills
