Accountabilities:
• Setup and test for different product types and adjust machine parameters in accordance with SOP.
• Carry out operations to ensure efficient delivery of quality products
• Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of products to standards
• Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams, and report malfunctions
• Report any machine issues to maintenance technician and/or production supervisor
• Inspect and remove defective products from production line.
• Carry out product reworking in a timely manner
• Troubleshoot and rectify minor mechanical and electrical plant and equipment problems
• Prepare production reports and records in accordance with approved company procedures and practices.
• Assist maintenance in correcting and analysing equipment failures to determine root cause and corrective actions.
• Receive and pack orders effectively from/for shipments
• Carry out occasional building repairs and upkeep inclusive of painting and cleaning.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects of plant.
• Ensure proper housekeeping in work place.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
