The job holder supports the efficient operations of the Production area by ensuring all equipment and work spaces are kept clean and sanitized in accordance with established Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures. He/she will clean and sanitize all machinery and continuously monitor, sweep and mop Production areas.

• Follow the established Cleaning Checklist to clean and sanitize the Production areas - Lunchroom, Storage area and Offices.
• Liaise with Supervisor to obtain Machine cleaning Plan.
• Clean and sanitize all assigned machinery according to Plan.
• Complete the Cleaning Checklist and submit to the Supervisor at the end of workday identifying any issues encountered while cleaning – property damage.
• Dispose of all waste generated during Production process in a timely manner.
• Actively patrol Production areas to ensure the constant upkeep of wet and dirty floors and handwash stations.
• Replace and secure all cleaning tools and supplies in the storage area.

·         Adhere to general and safety regulations, related to the job at the machines (accident prevention regulations).

• Report immediately actual and potential non-conformance to Supervisor – GMP.

·         Conduct weekly stock checks and notify Supervisor on stock levels of cleaning supplies – chemicals and tools.

Requirements:

Must be able to work on a 3 shift system (6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm & 10pm to 6am).
