Professional Qualifications Required

MUST be certified in MICROSOFT OFFICE ADVANCE (Proficient with the use of Excel, MS Word, Power Point and Database) 5 CXC Subjects - Inclusive of Maths, English, Spanish & Principles of Accounts. A FIRST DEGREE IN ANY OF THE FOLLOWING: -Marketing -Business Management -Administration -International Relations or related field.

Technical / Vocational Skills Required

Excellent Verbal and written communication skills. 1-3 years' experience in a similar capacity. An equivalent combination of training and experience would be an asset. Must definitely be proficient in MICROSOFT OFFICE ADVANCED. Knowledge of Trade and Agreements and International Trade. Knowledge of Office Administration. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational skills. Knowledge of liaising with Customs and Excise.

Job Description

To Provide support to Export Coordinator/Manager on all Export shipments within the company and ensure shipments are processed in a timely manner.

Job Details / Responsibilities

JOB DETAILS AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: 

  • Assisting in Market Research to identify new business opportunities.
  • Assists in Developing business proposals for new and existing customers based on Trade and Market Visits.
  • Generate Packing Lists for containers and delivery notes for shipments. GRN (Goods Received Notes) for incoming deliveries/purchases. 
  • Responsible for the Records management of the department in accordance to approved filing and archiving structures.
  • Managing, analyzing stock, and producing reports as required. (including SSRS and ordering)
  • Assists in general client queries in a timely manner (via email and calls).
  • Explain to prospective clients, the advantages of the products or services offered and follow up with them to finalize purchases.
  • Participates in meetings and events with agencies including TTMA, TIC and ExportTT for company growth.
  • Perform any other related duties. 
  • Booking of containers, L.C.L, break with shipping lines.
  • Managing customer A&P expenses, preparing credits accordingly. 
  • Monitoring customers accounts, preparing statements, liasing with Accounts Receivables Department to ensure payments are received in a timely manner.
