• Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. • Production and Processing — Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. • Tools and Machinery — Knowledge of tools and machinery, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. • Organizing, Planning, and Prioritizing Work — Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.

Job Description

To ensure that all materials produced are of a high standard and quality. Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, by completing production orders on/before requested date, with little wastage.

Job Details / Responsibilities

  1. Delegate work tasks to production employees according to priority and available manpower.
  2. Oversee and lead employees working at lower levels in production on the company’s premises and/or job sites.
  3. Schedule co-ordinate and execute production workflow by monitoring process steps: self-processing variables; observing control points and equipment’s; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within the process control points; initiate and foster a spirit of co-operation within and between departments.
  4. Ensure products are produced according to company requirements and that quality is of both local and international standards.
  5. Ensure that all relevant documentation for example, delivery notes, invoices, production orders etc. are processed and completed by production staff and passed on to the relevant personnel, departments and/or units in a timely, effective and efficient manner.
  6. Maintain contact with all clients, suppliers, company supervisors and sub-contractors inclusive of issue resolution.
  7. Plan, prepare and execute contingency plans for production in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.
  8. Manage and maintain all the company’s plants and machinery ensuring that they are clean and in proper working order.
  9. Assist with stock taking when required.
  10. Ensure that all health and safety policies and guidelines are being adhered to and followed by staff.
  11. Assist in conducting toolbox meeting on a frequent and required basis.

Perform all other related duties as required.
