$12m bail for women in Westmoorings drug bust
THE TWO women held last week Tuesday at an apartment at Regents Gardens, Westmoorings, during a multi-million-dollar drug bust have both been granted bail of $6 million each. Krystiana Sankar and Yannis Pebbles Augustine were each granted bail by Port of Spain magistrate Aden Stroude when they reappeared in the Port of Spain Magistrates’ Court yesterday. Read more…
Moses may have breached security before
New reports emerged on Monday of alleged protocol and security breaches by Foreign and Caricom Affairs Minister Dennis Moses at Airport Authority security checkpoints.This follows another matter which occurred on September 20.It was recently reported AATT security guard Kelvon Alexander was suspended for two weeks in an incident involving Moses and Planning Minister Camille Robinson-Regis when they attempted to exit via the airport's duty-free area on September 20. Extended hours for Xmas barrel collection
PORT Authority chairman Lyle Alexander today gave the assurance that people who are expecting to receive Christmas supplies through the Port of Spain port will be able to receive them in a timely manner. Alexander said Christmas time remains a period when the port receives lots of personal cargo, some of it in barrels, sent by TT nationals living abroad to friends and relatives at home. Read more…
