Seven-year-old boy drowns in family pool
A SEVEN-YEAR-OLD boy drowned on Wednesday afternoon at his Millennium Park, Trincity home after his right hand got stuck in the pump inside the pool.Riberto Heeraman is believed to have drowned after he attempted to pull his hand from the pump but became confused and remained submerged in the water for close to five minutes. 13-year-old suffers heart attack
A Princes Town family is trying to come to terms with the sudden death of a 13-year-old boy.Anderson Gopaul, a form two pupil of the Tableland Secondary School, died after he collapsed outside the bathroom of the family’s New Grant home on Wednesday morning. Terrorism suspects detained in Suriname
Authorities in Suriname have confirmed that police have arrested several individuals suspected of being involved in terrorism activities. Among the five suspects, believed to be Muslim, who were detained on Sunday at several locations, are two Dutch nationals, reportedly two brothers.
