5 years experience in Accounting. Understanding of organizational accounting concepts. Strong financial analysis skills. Experience in using MS GP software .
Must have the ability to work in fast pace multi-tasking environment . Must be able to meet deadlines and submit reports in a timely manner. 1. Provide management with the necessary accounting reports -Profit & Loss etc. 2. Collecting and Analyzing data about company's operational cost 3. Accounts reconciliation . 4.Preparing audit reports and presenting the findings to Management. 5. Recommending changes to the company's processes and policies to reduce cost and maximize profits. 6. Key Responsibilities:
· Promotes an effective and efficient operational control environment throughout the business in order to protect and safeguard the company’s assets and resources. Coordinates the timely implementation of all internal and external audit control recommendations
· Coordinate and effectively manage deliverables of the Finance department to external and internal stakeholders via proactively managing and monitoring issues to resolution to ensure that issues are resolved in a timely manner and thereby continue to be a value adding business partner
· Manages and ensures integrity of the Company’s accounting records and files to ensure compliance to local regulatory authorities
· Plan, coordinate and effectively manage key deliverables to internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all deliverables are met in a timely, effective and efficient manner
· Promotes, cultivates and sustains an environment which supports a high performance team that understands and supports the company’s Mission/objectives
· Develops, in collaboration with the Finance Director self sufficient talent pipeline to foster and encourage career progression of direct reports thereby ensuring support for the short and long term business needs
· Drives and supports ongoing review of processes, systems, structures and business models to improve effectiveness and efficiency with the aim of enhancing business value
· Assist in month end closing, advising IT department of any irregularities in the system.
· Monthly reconciliation of Inventory (Physical) to GL.
· Verifying of accurate inventory costing.
· Preparation of monthly Bank Reconciliations
· Preparing monthly Journals as needed.
· Preparing monthly Journals as needed.
· Assisting in the improvement of Internal Controls.
· Daily reports to Financial Comptroller.
