Job Description

Job Summary Assist the departments in achieving the company’s vision and mission by providing administrative support in all activities undertaken by the unit. Reports to: Managing Director Unit: Human Resource and Administration Sub-Unit: Human Resource

Job Details / Responsibilities

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Prepare or draft error free letters, memos, reports and other documents daily

  2. Maintain an accurate and effective electronic and manual filing system where files are easily retrievable upon request

  3. Prepare Medical Claims for reimbursement at least once weekly

  4. Assist in the co-ordination of all training and staff events as required

  5. Act as Credit Union liaison for employees

  6. Receive calls within three rings and redirect accordingly

  7. Attend to all visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department in a timely and courteous manner

  8. Prepare board package, Audit Committee and TSC report within the requested timeframe

  9. Conduct annual archiving/ destruction of Company documents

  10. Maintain current and accurate record of employee leave database

  11. Prepare relevant paperwork for all contract staff

  12. Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate health, safety, security and environmental policies/ procedures

  13. Perform any other related duties as required by the job function
