•Regional knowledge – You should be familiar with regional markets and have some level of networking established in the major regional export markets. • Writing Ability - You must posses the ability to write captivating content. A strong grasp of grammar and attention to detail. Your ability to present samples of articles, press releases, or copy you have written. • Sales and Marketing — Knowledge of principles and methods for showing and promoting our products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems. • Business Knowledge. It is essential to have a good understanding of business finance and be able to manage budgets as well as set sales targets and evaluate sales data. • Project Management. Some knowledge of the basic principles of Project management with an understanding of the processes and approach to ensuring completion on time, on budget and to customer satisfaction.
: This role is primarily responsible for identifying, sourcing and expediting export sales, which will establish and create sustainable growth in chosen regional and international markets for all our products and services.
Obtain and collect ongoing market data regarding the company’s lines of goods and services as exists in foreign markets including prices, potential customer bases, competitors, duties, local laws and other market conditions.
Based on the above, identify sustainable target markets and penetration strategies and make recommendations to Management accordingly.
Visit and make presentations to potential customers, projects or partners in selected markets.
Follow up leads arising in export territories and prepare accurate quotations and sales orders.
Establish and develop good commercial relationships with foreign agents, licensees or other repeat customers and Ensure optimal level of customer service.
Via the above and other approved strategies, achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Assist and provide training to overseas customers for efficient usage of product applications.
Carry our Project reviews on start-up of sold jobs, Monitor the progress of overseas projects and provide customer service and oversight of the supervisor’s work.
Liaise with shippers, customs brokers and clients to co-ordinate the preparation of shipping documents and clearance of goods for export orders and jobs.
Timely Collection of foreign customer payments.
Co-ordinate with relevant departments within the company to ensure timely resolution of customer complaints or required warranty works.
