Professional Qualifications Required

 Level 1 ACCA or Level 3 AAT/CAT.  Five (5) O’ Level passes at CXC/GCE level inclusive of Mathematics and English Language.  Two (2) years experience in an Accounting and Auditing environment.  Computer Literate in Microsoft Office Suite.  Knowledge of basic organization functions and policies as it relates to accounting needs.  Knowledge of professional accounting software packages.  Good communication skills, both oral and written.  Ability to direct and perform with a considerable volume of detailed work.  Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions of some complexity.  Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees.

Job Details / Responsibilities

  • Ensures that all payments are processed in a timely and efficient manner

  • Promptly and accurately post all invoices and allocate to the correct GL accounts

  • Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.

  • Prepare and process weekly payments (checks, wires, ACH and Credit Card)

  • Maintains and reconciles prepaid and accrued expenses

  • Reconciles vendor statements, aging reports, reviews and corrects discrepancies

  • Maintains supplier files

  • Ensures that strict implementation of all financial and accounting systems and procedures are adhered to.
