Job Description

Prepare, develop and analyse financial information to allow the organization to make well-informed strategic decisions to ensure future stability, profitability and growth, and pre-empt problems and adapt to changing circumstances and developments. Status: Permanent, Reports To: CFO CORPORATE, Subordinates: Factory Accountant; Cost Accountant

Job Details / Responsibilities

  • Produce financial statements including budgets, cash flows, variance analysis as required.
  • Assist in the production of the annual budget and periodic forecasting
  • Provide management reporting for decision-making, including project appraisal, evaluation and post-implementation analysis
  • Ongoing review of cash flow and production of forecasts
  • Manage capital expenditure
  • Report on company assets and liabilities including balance sheet account reconciliations and review of intangible assets
  • Analyze information and use it to make business decisions

  • Formulate business strategy to create wealth and shareholder value

  • Determine what information is needed by management and explain numbers to non-financial managers

  • Advise managers about the financial implications of projects

  • Explain the financial consequences of business decisions by applying accounting techniques to plan and budget

  • Monitor spending and financial control

  • Identify and manage risk

  • Perform any other related duties which may be allocated from time to time.
